


Nick McVay - Head Coach: Coach McVay, a Dublin resident, has served as the offensive coordinator at Olentangy Berlin High School since the program’s inception in 2018. In 2013, McVay was an intern with the Division-I FCS Robert Morris University program, assisting the defensive coaching staff in areas such as film breakdown and scouting reports. He also helped the program’s recruiting coordinator from an operational perspective. In 2014, he was elevated to tight end and H backs coach. He then finished his tenure at RMU as their wide receivers coach, before moving to high school at Berlin. McVay was a student assistant with Otterbein in 2012 and primarily worked with receivers. He helped the squad to an 8-2 overall record. Nick was a three-year letterwinner in football while attending both Ohio Wesleyan and Otterbein. He led the Battling Bishops in punt return yardage during the 2009 campaign and served as both a receiver and a defensive back in his collegiate career. He was also a two-year lettermen in lacrosse for Otterbein. He played in 20 career contests and helped the Cardinals reach their first NCAA Tournament in the program’s young history in 2013. McVay attended Olentangy High School where he was an all-conference receiver. A native of Lewis Center, Ohio, McVay earned a bachelor of arts degree in health and physical education from Otterbein in 2013, and he also holds a master’s degree in learning and technology.

Blake Skuratowicz - Tight Ends / Special Teams Coordinator: Blake, a native of the Lewis Center, is a graduate of Olentangy Orange. He went on to play fullback and tight end at Robert Morris University, finishing his collegiate career at Ohio Dominican University. During his time in college, he was a four-year letterman and earned both his undergraduate and master's degrees in business. Blake brings four years of coaching experience, all of which he gained at Olentangy Berlin. During that time, he served as the freshman defensive coordinator, offensive line coach, and assistant varsity special teams coach. Blake and his wife, Kristina, reside in Delaware.

DeLano Madison - Wide Receivers: A three-time football state champion from Brother Rice, the Detroit, MI native brings four years of varsity coaching experience. He has spent all those years serving as the running backs coach, assisting with strength and conditioning, and coaching the boys' sprint team at Olentangy Berlin. A graduate of Robert Morris University, DeLano was a four-year starter at receiver and served as team captain for two years. He, along with his wife, Lex, and their newborn daughter, reside in Columbus.

Greg Bahen - Offensive Line: The Columbus native and Bishop Ready graduate brings 16 years of football coaching experience, all at Columbus DeSales. He started in freshman roles before advancing to varsity positions. As a varsity coach, he has served as the offensive line coach, defensive line coach, and co-offensive coordinator, contributing to DeSales' success in reaching the 2020 Division III State Runner-Up finish. Additionally, he has been the assistant varsity basketball coach for the past eight years. Greg, and his fiancée Kristen, reside in Hilliard.

Chase Bodeman - Quarterbacks: Chase is a native of Toledo, OH, and a 2016 graduate of Toledo Whitmer HS. The former 2nd Team DI All-Ohio QB went on to play QB and WR at Robert Morris University. After graduation, Chase entered the sales profession before transitioning into education. He spent the previous two seasons serving as the freshman QB and OC at Olentangy Berlin HS. Chase currently resides in Westerville and will be an Intervention Specialist at Coffman this school year.

Gabe Shively - Running Backs: Gabe is a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln HS. He went on to earn four varsity letters as a tight end for Otterbein University, participating in over 36 games. After his collegiate career, he spent five years coaching football and wrestling at Westerville South. He currently holds a parapro position at Dublin Jerome. Gabe and his wife, Erica, live in Westerville with their three children.

Mike Person - Quality Control: Mike, a native of Glendive, Montana, served as the team captain and was a three-time All-Big Sky offensive lineman at Montana State University. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft and went on to play for nine seasons in the league. Additionally, Mike spent one season as an Offensive Assistant with the Miami Dolphins. The 2x State Discus Champion is also a member of both the Montana State Athletics and the Montana State Professional Football Hall of Fame. Coach is the owner of 5 Dot OL Academy and resides in Dublin with his wife, Kelly, and their three children.

Nate Snedeker - Defensive Coordinator: A native of Brookville, OH, Sned has 16 years of varsity coaching experience. He is most notable for his roles as the defensive coordinator and strength and conditioning coach at Pickerington North from 2016 to 2021. Additionally, he served as the boys' sprint coach, helping guide the team to a state title in 2021. Sned became the head coach at Jonathan Alder from 2021 to 2024 and currently teaches science there. He and his wife, Lisa, reside in Plain City with their two children.

Dalton Maynard - Defensive Line: The former Dublin Coffman football captain and class of 2014 valedictorian. Dalton, brings 12 years of experience, including 8 at the varsity level. He began his career as a freshman assistant with The Rocks before taking on defensive varsity roles at Olentangy Liberty, Olentangy Berlin, and most recently, Big Walnut. Coach teaches math at Coffman and resides in Powell.

Ryan Hallinan - Safeties: A Westerville native and graduate of Westerville Central HS, Ryan enters his first season coaching. He played football at Denison University, where he was a four-year starter at safety, served as team captain for two years, and earned All-NCAC honors twice. He currently resides in Hilliard.

Adreon Barrett - Cornerbacks: A Columbus native and graduate of Whetstone HS, Dri joins the Coffman football staff with four years of football coaching experience. He most recently served as the varsity receiver coach at Thomas Worthington HS. In addition to his coaching role, he is a member of the Army National Guard and resides in Columbus with his two daughters.

Aaron Volle - Outside Linebackers / Co-Special Teams Coordinator: Aaron, originally from Olmsted Falls, graduated from Wilmington College in 2020, where he played linebacker and was team captain during his senior year. He has four years of coaching experience at the varsity level, having worked with teams at Parma Senior HS and Normandy HS. Aaron and his wife Mariyah reside in Lockbourne with their two-year-old son

Casey Magyar - Kickers and Punters: The former 2x DI All-State Rock, Casey Magyar, will enter his first season coaching, working with our Kickers and Punters. Casey began his college career at Kent State, before transferring to The Ohio State University, where he was a member of the 2025 National Championship team. Casey resides in Dublin and his younger brother, Dylan, will be a senior player for us.

Jeff Mowrey - Defensive Assistant: A native of St. Clairsville and a member of their athletic Hall of Fame coach had a standout career at Ashland University, where he ranked as the 5th leading tackler in program history. The two-time Academic All-American and was a finalist for the coveted Campbell Trophy. Mowrey boasts over 12 years of coaching experience at the high school level, having held defensive assistant roles at Stow-Munroe Falls, Olentangy, and Olentangy Berlin, before taking on the role of defensive coordinator at Worthington Christian HS. He lives in Delaware with his wife, Stefanie, and their two children; their son serves as the long snapper at Colgate, while their daughter is a swimmer at Stony Brook.

Chris Badger - Defensive Assistant: Dr. Badger grew up in Utah, playing Safety at Timpview HS, where he helped lead the team to three consecutive state championships and earned a 3-star recruitment ranking. He began his college football career at Notre Dame before transferring to BYU, where he distinguished himself as a four-year letter winner. Currently, he resides in Dublin with his wife and three children, working as an Emergency Physician at Grant and Riverside.
