C.J. Saunders, Class of 2015

Coffman

  • 2 year letter winner in football

  • 3 year letter winner in basketball and baseball

  • Captain for all three teams

  • Earned All-Conference and All-District honors in all three sports

  • 2014 OCC Player of the Year in basketball

  • 2015 Rawlings Gold Glove winner which goes to the best defensive player in America for high school baseball

Ohio State

  • Went on to play football at Ohio State

  • 4 time OSU-Scholar athlete

  • 3 time Academic All Big Ten

  • 2020 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar

  • 2019 Burlsworth Trophy nominee, which is given annually to the most outstanding player in America who began his career as a walk-on

  • 2019 Team Captain

  • 4 time Big Ten Champion

  • Rose Bowl Champion

  • Cotton Bowl Champion


- Went on to play football in the NFL for 3 years with both the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons. 

- Founder & Host of The CJ Saunders Youth Football Camp, a youth sports camp focused on skill development, character building, and having fun through the game of football.




Ryan Murdock

Ryan Murdock, Class of 2012


Ryan Murdock (’12) was one of the most accomplished wrestlers in Dublin Coffman history. He was the first athlete in school history to place at the Division I OHSAA State Wrestling Championships three times, finishing 5th in 2010, 6th in 2011, and 4th in 2012. A four-time team MVP, Ryan graduated with the school record in career wins (172). He earned All-Metro honors all four years, was a two-time AAU Junior Olympic Champion, and a 2010 USA Cadet National Duals All-American. A three-time OHSAA Scholar-Athlete and Central District Scholar-Athlete, Ryan was equally committed in the classroom. He went on to continue his academic and athletic career at Columbia University in New York City, where he competed at the NCAA Division I level. He is  married to his wife, Andrea, and lives in Jersey City with their dog, Morty.his career at Ramp in the heart of Manhattan. Sara Johnson

Sara Johnson, Class of 2012


Sara was  a 4-year varsity letter winner and captain in Track and Field at Dublin Coffman. She earned All-Ohio honors and was a 5x state meet qualifier, finishing 3rd her senior year at the OHSAA Division 1 state meet. She was named team Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and team MVP her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Sara broke Coffman records 21 times and held 5 records her senior year. She is also the all-time leading point scorer for the Rocks. 

She competed in the heptathlon at the USATF National Junior Olympics after her sophomore and junior years at Coffman. She was named to the Midwest Meet of Champions and ran for Team Ohio in the 4x200m relay where they placed first. She went on to attend Ohio Wesleyan University where she held the National D-III record in the 100m hurdles and competed at Nationals 4x. She became an All-American and was named Regional Athlete of the Year in 2016. In 2024 she was named on the Ohio All-Decade Team.

Sara is currently a registered nurse working at Grant Level 1 Hospital in the Emergency Department.

Tiffany Crocker

Tiffany Crocker, Class of 2006


Tiffany was a three-sport athlete while at Coffman. While participating on the varsity soccer team, Tiffany helped lead the team to three consecutive State Final Four appearances, including a state championship her sophomore year and a state runner-up finish her junior year. Crocker was an all-conference second-team member in cross country and she helped lead her team to 3rd place at States her freshman year.  Tiffany was a 4 year letter winner and 4 year starter in basketball while at Coffman. She was Coffman’s all-time leader in assists and steals at the time of her graduation in 2006 ... produced a double-digit scoring average as a sophomore, junior and senior ... was named team MVP in each of her last three seasons ... was a three-time all-conference first-team member ... named Conference Player of the Year and Co-District Player of the Year as a senior ... and earned all-district honorable-mention accolades three times. Tiffany went on to play basketball after Coffman at Gannon University in Erie, PA where as a captain she led her team to a final four NCAA appearance her senior year, started every game of her 4 year career, led the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio in her senior season and ranks 2nd in Gannon all-time in assists.

2012 Girls Track and Field Team


The 2012 Girls Track and Field team started off the season well, taking second places in the Hilliard Davidson Wildcat Premier meet and the Lexington Invitational. The Rocks won the Dublin Classic, the Westerville South Wildcat Invitational, and the Larkin-Crosten Invitational at Upper Arlington. The team won the OCC meet 179-164 over Hilliard Davidson, and won the district meet 141-97. At the regional meet, missing one of their best athletes, the girls finished second to the defending and future state champions, Reynoldsburg, 77-73. The team qualified to the state meet in ten of the seventeen events.  At the state meet the Rocks finished 3rd place overall. The team set the school record for points in a season, and set over a dozen school records. They earned all Ohio honors in the 200 dash, 300 hurdles, 800 run, 1600 run, 3200 run, shot put, 4x100 relay, 4x800 relay and 4x1600 relay. Four members of this team would go on to be NCAA All Americans.
