BOYS LAX DOMINATES ST. IGNATIUS, NOW HEADED TO THE STATE FINAL

The Rocks defeated Cleveland St. Ignatius 15-8 in dominating fashion in the State Semi Final Tuesday night at Wooster High School. The Shamrocks controlled the game from the start with a complete team effort. Leading 12-3 at the end of the third quarter, Coffman took the pedal off the gas to secure the win. Ethan James lead the Shamrocks with 8 goals and 1 assist and Ethan Tyack had 3 goals and 2 assists. Sean McCourt registered 10 saves keeping the Wildcats at a safe distance throughout the game.
The Rocks advance to the State Championship Game for the first time in school history. They will be matched up with the defending state champs, St. Xavier HS out of Cincinnati. The game will be This Saturday Night at 7PM.
